this year’s “On Tap!’’ Friday night, produced by festival founder and director Julia Boynton, did that and more, giving an enthusiastic crowd a glimpse of tap’s past, present, and very lively future.
"Ms. Hagan loves (tap) dancing so much that she created a dance floor in her home in outside Boston, so she can practice routines. It consists of a 4x4-foot piece of masonite, a wood composite, which cost about $20 at Home Depot."
